The Senior Traffic / Transportation Planning Engineer, based out of our Toronto office, will lead Transportation Planning studies, traffic analysis and traffic impact studies. If you have proven Customer Focus Vision, Business Development experience and a love of Coaching, you will thrive in this exciting and challenging role.

This role will be based in Toronto, ON.

Your role within the team :

• Manage projects while maintaining project budgets, schedules, risk registers and communications with project team, client staff and project stakeholders.
• Lead technical proposals for traffic and transportation related pursuits.
• Supervise and carry out multimodal analyses in a variety of transport infrastructures (highways, roadway, public transport, active transport).
• Supervise work with various transportation and traffic engineering software such as Aimsun, VISSIM, VISUM, VISTRO, Synchro, Sim Traffic and HCM.
• Supervise and conduct traffic safety analyses.

The ideal candidate :

• University Degree in Transportation or Civil Engineering, Applied Science, Planning or suitable equivalent.
• 10 years of relevant experience in traffic and transportation engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
• Possess high level highway engineering knowledge and skills recognized by the Ministry of Transportation Ontario, sufficient for approval in MTO RAQS.
• Experience with temporary traffic conditions and construction staging analysis would be an asset.
• Experience with traffic signal design would be an asset.
• Bilingual French/English would be an asset.
• Secondary qualifications such as PMP, PTOE, RSP, PTP, etc. would be an asset
