The bigger picture

We're looking for an asset liability management (ALM) financial expert to come on board as our Senior Treasury ALM Analyst. Through measurement, monitoring, and analysis, you will support Treasury and the Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO) to recommend and implement asset/liability management strategies that optimize financial risk and strategic objectives. In addition, in this role, you will collaborate closely with our Financial Performance team to ensure accurate delivery of forecasts and the annual budget.

How you'll be spending your time

• Measuring, monitoring, and reporting on interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk and net interest margin.
• Managing the financial asset liability management modeling program to support informed financial decisions and navigate balance sheet risk effectively. This includes forecasting financial position and performance, evaluating liquidity positions, and conducting scenario and stress analyses to assess organizational risk exposures.
• Delivering asset liability management analysis and reporting to Treasury and ALCO. This includes measuring and monitoring interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and net interest margin.
• Researching, developing and maintaining strategic tactics and operating policies to optimize the asset/liability position while managing risk.
• Supporting liquidity and pricing reporting to the organization.
• Supporting the cash management process, complete with daily reporting and analysis
• Supporting F/X process (pricing, member requests, analysis).
• Developing, implementing and maintaining functional programs to respond to and execute department and broad organizational strategies relating to asset liability management.

The experience you bring

• Minimum 5 years in a financial environment, with 2 years' experience in a complex financial environment.
• Post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting.
• If you are working towards a CFA designation, that's a plus too!
• Advanced working knowledge of spreadsheets is essential
• Experience in asset liability management modeling

Salary Range:

$82,190 - $109,590 with 13% Short Term Incentive Target
