As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role providing first-class service with the goal of building and maintaining great relationships with our clients and contributing to our commitment of delivering excellence.

Location: Audi St. John’s, NL

Salary: $20.59/hour

Hours: 45 Hours per week,7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Union

*This is a union position and all rates of pay and benefits are outlined in the Collective Agreement.

Service Consultant Specific Skills:

• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of counters, displays, and client contact areas by following company policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain knowledge of Audi St. John's products and services by training on-the-job and participating in education and development programs.
• Responsible for greeting customers, listening to requests, scheduling appointments, and estimating costs.
• Work with customers to determine problems with a vehicle and provide technicians with accurate repair descriptions.
• Assist with coordination of alternate transportation such as shuttle service, limited loaner program or rental vehicles.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles if applicable.
• Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional needed service clients.
• Confirm warranty and service contract coverage by examining customer records, explaining provisions and exclusions.
• Ensure new and used car warranty repairs by approving adjustments within standard warranty period.
• Verify and write accurate repair orders and complete by reviewing all copies, including supporting documentation.
• Contact the customer to obtain authorization for repairs, ensuring to first address the customer’s main concerns before up-selling another repair that had been suggested by the technician.
• Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding Audi St. John's product and service requirements.
• Give consistent updates to clients about the status of their vehicles.
• Complete full walk around for each client vehicle in for service work, complete detailed walkaround sheet.
• Receive payment for the work completed, handle the cash or credit transaction, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform a consultative vehicle delivery with the client when work is completed.
• Other Duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
• High School education preferred.
• Two years in customer contact or sales experience.
• Two years in an automotive service environment preferred.
• Clear criminal record check.
• Steel-toed safety boots.
