What you'll be doing:

• Review Septic, Fencing, Plumbing and Portable Toilet routes on a daily basis to ensure route optimization.
• Identify and address day to day operational issues through your own initiative and by consulting the supervisor and managers for direction as appropriate.
• Monitor drivers' workloads and movement to and from sites and accommodate travel changes throughout the day as required.
• Review GPS data to help alert managers to problems or issues.
• Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations.
• Answer radio and dispatch calls to drivers. Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have.
• Advise drivers of route and traffic problems such as construction, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, etc.
• Efficiently communicating information to drivers according to clients' requests.
• Maintain accurate records, keep system updated, and process various reports.
• Perform other duties as required

Other things about you that are important:

• Grade 12; additional logistics and business related courses preferred
• Strong Computer skills - word, excel, internet. Experience with custom software such as Smart Service and CRO is an asset
• Experience with dispatch activities in an office environment
• Experience dispatching service technicians is an asset
• Ability to pay strict attention to detail while working in a multi-tasking environment
• Excellent telephone etiquette, and verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated logistic and planning skills and the ability to maintain focus and work in a fast-paced, pressure-filled team environment solving problems
• Own transportation as there is no bus service to our site

Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
