Service Laborer/Parts Driver

Overview
Commercial Truck Equipment is looking to add a Full-Time Permanent Service Laborer/Parts Driverto our branch in Calgary AB.

The Service Laborer/Parts Driver plays a key role in supporting service and parts by assisting in warehouse duties, completing daily parts and material pick-ups for the service department, detailing vehicles, assisting mechanics and production staff, and overseeing inventory of shop supplies. Reporting to the Service Manager, this entry-level role requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimal supervision. An aspiring mechanic or millwright would be an ideal fit, with training, educational support, and growth opportunities available for the right candidate. Responsibilities and Duties

• Vehicle detailing and cleaning, both interior and exterior
• Parts pickup and delivery
• Moving equipment, maintaining an organized yard and warehouse
• Provision of support to the Parts and Production Staff and Managers
• General labour duties; warehouse and yard maintenance as required
• Following all health and safety procedures and regulations as directed by the employer

Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will have a mix of the following qualifications and experience. Commercial is looking for someone who has the experience to make a smooth transition into this position and hit the ground running. We will consider candidates from all backgrounds and industries, providing familiarization and training for the right candidate.

• Valid Class-5 driver's license is mandatory. A driver’s abstract may be required.
• Highly organized, detail oriented
• Capable of independent work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds
