SUMMARY
The Service Supervisor monitors and assigns work duties to Service Technicians while working alongside them to ensure work is done correctly and efficiently in accordance with company standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Take reasonable care to protect his/her health and safety and that of other workers by following TARA Energy’s safety policies & procedures, as well as government and industry regulations.
● Service all TARA equipment, including but not limited to taking apart inspecting/repairing various components grinding, sanding, painting, and other tasks.
● Assist with loading and unloading of equipment. Ensure proper shipping documents is completed for each load (TDG, Bills of Lading, etc.)
● Move equipment in yard as required, using skid steer, forklift, and front-end loader, with proper user certification required
● Work and collaborate with other stakeholders to uphold safety and quality standards.
● Assist in preparing parts orders and equipment for dispatch to field
● Keep shop area clean and free of clutter and debris
● Organize and maintain tools required for service
● Clean outside and inside of vehicles and equipment, utilizing proper safety protocol which may include confined space entry
● Remove snow from yard, sidewalks and parking lots as required
● Clean service bays and wash bays
● Travel to site to perform service and maintain equipment as required.
● Work overtime as required
KEY SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
● 4-5+ years or more of related industry experience required
● Completion of mandatory company safety training requirements as defined by management.
● Basic understanding of hand tools (preferred)
● Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
● Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time (pulling, pushing, carrying).
● Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
● Ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
● Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
● Ability to work independently and part of a team.
● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Valid Driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
