Position Overview: As a Sheet Metal Installer at Shiba Mechanical, you will play a crucial role in the installation of diverse HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, ductwork distribution, and gas piping. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate interpretation of blueprints, precise measurement and layout for ductwork installation, and troubleshooting to guarantee the optimal functioning of HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

HVAC Installation: Execute the installation of various HVAC systems, such as RTUs, split systems, ductwork distribution, and gas piping.

Blueprint Interpretation: Carefully read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper specifications and adherence to project requirements.

Measurement and Layout: Accurately measure, layout, and plan for the installation of ductwork, ensuring precision in alignment with project specifications.

Material Management: Ensure that the necessary materials required for the project are sufficient, coordinating with the project manager to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring proper functionality.

Team Assistance: Assist the crew when necessary, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the installation projects.

Organization and Clean-Up: Contribute to the organization and cleanliness of the work site, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Sheet Metal Installer in HVAC systems.

Valid driver's license is required.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Strong measurement and layout skills for accurate ductwork installation.

Troubleshooting skills to ensure proper system functionality.

Ability to work well in a team environment.
