Job Description: Black Box Designs, a leading provider of equipment and test solutions for industrial equipment packaging, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their accuracy against purchase orders
• Inspect and document the condition of received goods
• Unload, unpack, and organize materials in the workshop
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately
• Ensure that all outgoing shipments are properly documented and comply with shipping regulations and requirements
• Coordinate with carriers and schedule shipments for timely delivery
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform periodic stock checks
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment
• Collaborate with other team members to meet shipping and receiving goals
• Conducting and recording product inspections
• Conducting and recording Bill of Ladings
• Tagging material

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
• Previous experience in quality inspections preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Familiarity with shipping procedures and documentation
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and punctual work ethic
• Forklift ticket
• Steel Toe Boots
• Basic computer skills

Compensation will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s strengths and experience as measured by the above description.

Salary range: $20-$25

Day shift: Monday – Friday (8:00am to 4:30pm)
