GoRight Fleet Solutions Inc. is seeking Shipper Receiver Driver to work on the Day Shift out of our facility located in Kitchener, Ontario.
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the position is to support the shop by planning and providing parts, supplies and assisting with all other avoidable barriers that stand in the way of effective and efficient repairs and maintenance. The position is also responsible for shipping/receiving and warehouse activities, with occasional driving to pick up or deliver parts requirements.

Shipping and Receiving
- Maintain organization and upkeep of warehouse.
- Receive in-bound parts, supplies and materials – physically and in system
- Pull, stage and label parts for outbound shipping
- Escalate any discrepancies to supervisor
- Label, assign and maintain storage and bin locations for all inventory
- Label and store parts in accurate locations
- Assist in development and improvement of warehouse and storage plans
- Assist in development and upkeep of facility 6S
- Perform regular cycle counts for all inventory and monitor for shrinkage avoidance
- Perform inter-branch transfers in a timely manner to maintain accurate inventory
- Other work as may be defined
- Occasional need to pick up and deliver parts as required in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure all loads are safe and properly secured at all times
- Maintain condition and cleanliness of company vehicles
- Complete vehicle inspection reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Safely operate the company vehicle adhering to all safety requirements, obeying traffic laws and driving undistracted
- Other work as may be defined
- Is aware of the employee’s responsibilities and follows all health and safety policies and procedures as set out in the Health and Safety Manual
- Works safely to reduce the risk of injury to self, co-workers and customers
- Is alert to and promptly reports all actual and potentially hazardous situations to Service Manager or Shop Supervisor
- Does not operate faulty equipment
- Wears personal protective equipment (or clothing) as required by the task, MSDS or company policy
- Promptly reports personal injury to your supervisor and seeks first aid as needed
- Participates in fire and Occupational Health and Safety training and drills.
- Strives to improve work processes to reduce risks
- Knows the facility emergency evacuation plan.
- Work with Lean tools and techniques to identify and solve problems
- Contribute to the improvement of processes and procedures
- Encourage suggestions and ideas for improvement from teammates
- Work continuously to eliminate wastes to increase capacity and improve safety and productivity in the shop
- Ordering supplies at best possible pricing, sourcing parts from local vendors, ensuring parts equipment maintained in a safe manner
Education and Training
- Grade 12 or equivalent with trade training
- Industry related experience an asset
- Valid G License
- Truck and trailer parts knowledge and experience
- Comfortable with prioritizing and handling large volumes of paperwork
- Comfortable with working in high pace environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Good communication skills
