Job description
Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, 40 hours per week.
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Shipper Receiver Forklift Operator works with utmost safety both independently and as part of the Shipping and Receiving team.
Main Responsibilities
· Perform the receiving and shipment duties of raw materials, finished products, packaging products and ingredients
· Ensure the integrity of the products
· Ensure that the quantities correspond to the receipt / shipment slip
· Computer data entry of products in the tracking system; “NetSuite” Inventory Mgmt. System
· Weigh products where appropriate
· Rotate products (FIFO) according to storage standards
Complete inventory cycle counts (spot checks, monthly, year-end).
· Truck loading / unloading
· Receive the order forms and take note of the orders to be prepared during the day
· Pick orders according to the products indicated on the order form using a pallet jack or a forklift
· Perform the inspection and daily maintenance of the forklift and survey equipment
· Respect Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), and Hazzard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
· Work safely and maintain a clean work environment
· Comply with the established dress code and the wearing of mandatory PPE
· Report any dangerous situation or potential contamination to the immediate superior
· Perform other related duties, seeking tasks from the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager
Overtime hours are needed from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in warehouse work, Counterbalance forklift driving, stand-up forklift driving and truck loading/unloading.
- Have possessed or currently possess a valid forklift certification.
- Possess a valid BC driver’s license.
- Pass in-house forklift operation assessment and order picking assessment.
- Above average mathematic skills (adding, multiplying, subtracting, dividing, percentages, weights, measurements)
· Proficiency in spoken and written English
· Ability to work in a walk-in freezer environment for 5 – 10 minutes at a time
· Ability to lift loads up to 50 lbs.
· Knowledge of HACCP standards is an asset
· Desire to work as part of a team

· Well-organized and meticulous
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Able to work efficiently and calmly under pressure
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$22.50 per hour
