Shipper/Receiver

We are a company in the automotive body parts industry. We are presently looking for new candidates to join our shipping and receiving team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide quick and reliable service for internal and external customers
• Prepare shipments to be sent out using different companies transport software
• Work in accordance to procedures and policies
• Perform incoming Inventory inspections as per policies and procedures
• Perform out-going shipments and quality inspections
• Keep warehouse and work stations clean – general house keeping

• Other duties as assigned

Work Experience

Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements

• Previous working experience in similar role would be an asset

Skills And Competencies

• Excellent communication skills bilingual
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize with good attention to detail

Working Conditions

• Overtime may be required
• Fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate via phone and email

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand or sit for long periods of time

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Shipping & Receiving Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
