We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for SHIPPER RECEIVER to support our Field & Technical services teams in Saint John, NB.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Receiving goods and verifying against shipping documents and other related documents
- Correctly identify inventory items and ensure accuracy
- Checking items to be shipped against pick list to ascertain that part number, quantity, labelling, and carrier selection is correct
- Follow established inventory control procedures
- Maintain shipping and receiving area by ensuring a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Putting away and identifying received inventory into rack & row
- Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
- Create and maintain a good organization of Material Storage Areas, documentation relating to Materials, and Shipping/Receiving.
- Supports supervisors with opening work orders and updating computer system tracking
- Operating a forklift to load and unload shipments,
- Operating over head crane to load and unload shipments
Requirements:
- Education Requirement: High school diploma, post secondary education or equivalent
- Required Experience: 1-3 years. Warehouse/ inventory control experience will be considered a strong asset
- Comfortable with MS office tools (Email, Word, Basic Excel)
- Good problem solving, trouble shooting, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a deadline based, fast-paced team environment
- Flexibility to work in various roles
- Ability to work in an accident-free manner and help to ensure that team members work safely while performing all job duties
- Safety training, knowledge of 5S (organization concepts), operation of mobile equipment, TDG, would be considered strong assets
