An opening exists in the Book Fairs Division for the position of Shipper Receiver reporting to the Distribution Manager.

Work Location: This position works out of our Moncton branch located at 222 Edinburgh Drive Suite 140, Moncton, NB.

PrimaryResponsibilities

• Responsible for the staging, loading and unloading of book fair delivery and pickups.
• Responsible for assisting drivers with route scheduling.
• Responsible for the loading and unloading of the vehicle in a safe manner as well as when operating lift trucks.
• Frequent pushing or pulling of heavy cases.
• Moderate to heavy lifting is required up to 40 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of previous warehouse work experience
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Familiarity and experience working with Microsoft Suite programs.
• A valid Forklift/Reach Truck license certification is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to be a team player.
• CSA approved (green-label) safety shoes are a requirement (cost will be reimbursed by Scholastic)
• AS400 and Salesforce knowledge an asset.
• French language skills are an asset.
