SUMMARY OF TASKS
Shipping & Logistics Administrator is responsible for Administration Tasks and Shipping/Receiving Support within a production environment including but not limited to; confirming appointments, creating Bills of Lading and supporting paperwork, directing drivers and coordinating dock schedule as well as data entry and general warehouse and or/admin support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confirming appointments and communicating with carriers
- Creation of Bill of Ladings and Shipping documents
- Communicating with Carriers
- Receiving Truck Drivers
- Coordinating dock schedule
- Data entry, paperwork and filing
- Use of ERP systems
- Communicating with different departments
- Driving forklift and electric pump cart
- Other related duties
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Microsoft Business Central and asset
- Food Industry experience an asset
- Must be a Mature, Responsible and Organized individual
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Forklift trained
- Job Specific Training to be provided
SHIFT
- Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
- 1:00pm to 9:30pm
