Overview

Daybar Industries is looking for a full time Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The candidate will work closely with members of our team to ensure that the product which is being shipped out is done so in a proper manner. They are responsible for maintaining shipping records and handle the paperwork associated with shipping duties.

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator position is a support position for operations who will be successful by providing accurate, complete and timely information to all other departments in the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and organizing daily/weekly tasks for the Shipping Department
• Create detailed load plans for Truck Load shipments
• Verify order completion in production
• Prepare shipping documentation and daily reports
• Maintain various production schedules
• Provide updates to sales and customer service on upcoming shipments
• Respond to expedited service requests
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and procedures
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing and shipment documentation
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with WMS systems and practices
