Shipping, Receiving And Inventory Manager

Eric Griffin Agri. Equip. Ltd is family owned and operated, with over 30 years of experience in the agricultural equipment industry. We sell and install equipment pertaining to animal comfort, automated feeding, ventilation and grain handling. We are currently seeking a motivated, hard-working individual to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipping and handling (Courier, LTL & Full Truck Load)

- Prep orders for shipping: protect, wrap and build freight skids to order

- Manage and organize order paperwork and track back orders

- Pick up and deliver freight with company truck and trailer to local suppliers and customers

- Maintain and organize inventory levels

- Keep buildings clean and organized

- Order and deliver parts as necessary

- Communicate in a professional manner with customers and suppliers on a daily basis

- Communicate with installation crew on a weekly basis and provide tools and material stock for crew trailers.

- Pay attention to crew job schedule and prep orders accordingly

Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of the agricultural industry considered an asset

- General computer knowledge

- Self motivated – Ability to complete job responsibilities without direct supervision

- Good communication, organizational and problem solving skills

- Ability to lift 50lbs.

- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is a must

o NS License Condition 15 considered an asset

- Towing, forklift and tractor experience is considered an asset

o Experience strapping flat bed loads considered an asset
