About CanCrete:
CanCrete Equipment Ltd. headquartered in Mississauga, is a leading supplier of parts and equipment for Canada’s concrete pumping market. We offer solutions to the concrete industry, be it through new equipment, used equipment, rentals, parts, service, or simply providing advice when needed. We are looking to add a Warehouse Associate/Shop Helper to our Surrey, BC location!
The Role:
The person in this role will work in the warehouse and ensure proper order picking/packaging and overall shop flow, and organization. In addition, you will also be assisting the technicians with a variety of tasks while learning the basics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfill customer orders, help with outbound shipping, inbound receiving, staging of products, and all related documentation
- Sign for incoming courier packages and verify goods received
- Maintain warehouse including putting away stock, sweeping, organizing supplies, and garbage disposal
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned
- Forklift operation
- Parts/equipment deliveries and pick-ups
- Assist with services, repairs, etc. on concrete pumps
- Work order administration
- Clean and maintain equipment as directed
- Provide general assistance around the shop (administrative and technical)
- Customer service
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in a shipper/receiver or warehouse associate role
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Previous SAP experience an asset
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Must maintain a Class 5 Driver’s License and provide a recent clean Driver’s Abstract
- Previous experience driving a truck and trailer is an asset
- Knowledge of the construction industry, with an emphasis on the concrete sector is an asset
- Position may involve repetitive bending and an ability to lift up to 50lbs
