Shovel Operator/ Septic Installer

DNM Contracting Ltd. is currently seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team and contribute to our residential construction projects. If you have a strong background in operating excavators, water, sewer and landscaping and thrive in a residential environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators efficiently and safely to perform various tasks on residential construction sites.
• Excavate and grade land for foundations, utilities, landscaping, and other residential projects.
• Safely maneuver the excavator in tight spaces and around existing structures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with the construction team to achieve project deadlines and objectives.
• Electronically record hours worked and tasks completed as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator, with a focus on residential projects.
• Valid excavator operator certification or license.
• Strong understanding of excavation techniques and residential construction processes.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor as required.
• Valid, clean driver's license is a MUST.
• Experience in landscaping and sewer excavation is preferred.

Salary: $26.00-$38.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
