Homes by Sher-Bilt is currently looking for a Host/Hostess for our Showhome in Woodbend (west side of Leduc). We build homes and acreages in the Leduc and surrounding areas and have built a legacy of excellence spanning two generations. We are looking:

• One position at 20hr per week covering all WEEKDAY Showhome hours, with the occasional weekend (additional 10hr for Sat/Sun). STARTING IMMEDIATELY.

The Showhome is open Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 8pm and Saturday, Sunday, and statutory holidays from 12pm – 5pm.

A successful candidate would enjoy working on their own, meeting new people, and have an intuition as to who could a potential customer and obtaining their contact information for an initial follow-up by the owner. Willing to learn about our company and the homes we build, then able to engage customers with knowledgeable answers; explaining what sets us apart. Must be able to conduct yourself in a manner that reflects our company values: quality, integrity, good work ethic, honesty, dependability, responsibility and, with mutual respect and understanding, maintain good relationships with fellow staff members, trades, suppliers, developers, and customers.

Job Info:

· Your priority would be to greet and talk about our homes with anyone who comes into our Showhome; engage in conversation and represent us well while obtaining contact information for potential customers.

· You must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time and go up and down stairs.

· Must be able to keep the office area organized and maintain consistent and detailed communication with other staff members.

· Would be responsible for the cleanliness of the showhome (light cleaning and tidying) and light shoveling of snow if needed in winter.

· Adhere to a dress code.

· $17/hr plus commission

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
