Job description

Due to growth within our company, we are seeking a Showroom Consultant to join our team at our Waterloo showroom, located near the St. Jacobs Farmers Market.

This is a part-time position, working two days during the week and alternating Saturday from 10am-2pm.

Since 1991, Chervin has been designing, manufacturing, and installing high-end custom cabinetry in homes across Waterloo Region. Over the years, Chervin has expanded to serve the GTA and Muskoka region. Chervin has also built and acquired 4 sister companies which have given us the opportunity to be a key player in the markets for luxury hotel furniture, residential furniture, custom upholstered furniture, and home décor.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • General administrative and sales support
  • Maintain employee time tracking
  • General receptionist duties
  • Product invoicing
  • Provide informative showroom tours when Showroom Consultant is unavailable
  • Keep track of showroom sample sign outs
  • Website maintenance
  • Ensure product pricing is up to date
  • Order management
  • Customer service
  • Miscellaneous showroom cleaning
  • Maintain an organized and tidy showroom

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Fluency in written and oral English
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • A keen attention to detail
  • A self-motivated desire to produce valuable work
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A passion for the core values that are the foundation of our company
  • A commitment to punctuality and dependability
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • BONUS: Customer service and kitchen and bath experience (not required)

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
