Siding and Aluminum Installer

Duties:

As an Exterior Installer, you will be responsible for the following:

· To always keep a clean job site

· Cut material and product as instructed or needed

· Lift material up a ladder or across a stage platform

· Lift material in weight from 50-75lbs at times

· Assist the team in installing product or material as instructed

· Using power tools on a regular basis (saws, drills etc)

· Providing accurate cuts and measurements as required

· Installing various siding products such as (Vinyl Siding, James Hardie Siding, Maibec Siding, Aluminum Siding, Insulated Siding and more).

· Installing Aluminum such as soffit, fascia and eavestrough. Including custom window capping and door capping.

· Installation of Windows & Doors

· Framing & Carpentry

· Minor Roofing

· Ability to use an aluminum break to custom bend metal

· Performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site.

· Loading and unloading tools or materials

· Assembling scaffolding or staging pieces of equipment

· Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints

· Lift heavy loads up to 70lbs and navigate construction job site terrain

· Operate Heavy machinery, including construction vehicles

· Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site

· Perform General maintenance on construction equipment

· Maintaining a clean trailer + worksite and ensuring tools and equipment is properly put away.

· Keeping all tools and equipment in good working condition.

· Report any work-related safety concerns to the crew leader and or owner.

Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience in Siding, Aluminum and or Windows & Doors preferred

· Reliable transportation to and from our shop

· Criminal Background Check

· 2+ years of construction experience

· Highschool Diploma preferred

· Punctual

· Team Player & Willing to develop within our company culture

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Salary: $27.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

• Siding: 2 years (preferred)
• Window & Door: 2 years (preferred)
• Framing: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
