Sign Installer

On behalf of our client, a signs + promotion company, we are looking for a Sign Installer to join their growing team.

Our client is a fast-growing local business focusing on creating, manufacturing, + installing signage along with offering branded promotional items + clothing. As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for self-motivated + hard working personnel to help us achieve our goals.

The Opportunity:

Our client is seeking a detailed-oriented Sign Installer to install various types of signage at client locations in + around Burnside and throughout HRM.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, be physically fit, + possess excellent problem-solving skills. Previous experience is a must, + Fall Arrest or Aerial Lift would be considered an asset. Candidates must hold a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintenance + upkeep of company equipment + vehicles.
• Completion of a daily vehicle check to account for all needed equipment + supplies needed for that day's work.
• Safely + efficiently install a variety of signage, including but not limited to, exterior building signs, banners + vehicle graphics.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work at heights, + perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Evaluate installation sites, ensuring proper measurements, + preparing surfaces for the installation process.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot + address issues during the installation process.
• Flexibility of work hours, assignments + scope of work may be required from time to time to meet company objectives.
• Punctual, reliable with good work ethic
• Ability to follow directions + work alone or as a team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in sign fabrication/installation
• Comfortable working heights
• Carpentry/Fabrication skills an asset
• Clean drivers abstract.
• Willingness to learn on the job.
• Being able to troubleshoot on job site to complete work on schedule is a huge bonus.
• Vinyl installation an asset
• Fall Arrest, Aerial lift and WHMIS an asset but not necessary
• Travel within Maritimes (minimal)
