Singles Event Host

Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join our matchmaking company as an Event Host & Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this role is to host speed dating events and singles mixers, providing an enjoyable and engaging experience for participants. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a passion for bringing people together, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere conducive to making meaningful connections.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate speed dating events and singles mixers from start to finish.
• Participant Engagement:
• Welcome attendees and create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Facilitate icebreaker activities and games to encourage interaction among participants.
• Ensure participants are comfortable and informed about event procedures.
• Address any concerns or issues that arise during the event promptly and professionally.
• Matchmaking Support:
• Assist with participant registration and matching processes.
• Provide guidance and support to participants throughout the event.
• Collect feedback from participants to improve future events and matchmaking services.
• Promotion & Marketing:
• Assist in promoting events through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, and community outreach.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences and fostering connections among singles.
• Knowledge of local venues and event logistics is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
