Site Labourer

We’re looking for a motivated full-time, permanent Site Labourer to join our team located in Exshaw, Alberta, completing innovative timber-framed structures and products. The main responsibilities are to provide labour and construction duties and support to the construction team. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a team.

At WPTF we combine traditional German and Canadian timber frame joinery and materials with the latest in technology and innovation on the worldwide market. Together with high standards in green building, efficiency, and sustainability, we create legacy buildings and structures.

Main Activities

• Assist with loading and unloading construction material and tools at that jobsite
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Execute daily work instructions from the Site Crew Lead in a timely manner
• Help install timber frame elements and structures
• Travel to job sites
• Other duties as required

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience is an asset but not required. Training is provided
• Travel to sites is required
• First Aid and WHIMIS is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with changing directions
• Ability to work as a team and assist others
• Must be able to lift 50 plus lbs
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation required
