Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Skidsteer Operator to join the workforce at one of the world's largest commercial biorefineries located in Edmonton, AB. This role offers a remarkable opportunity to be responsible for general maintenance and provide assistance to plant operators.

  • Pay rate:$50-$70/hour

  • Location:Edmonton, AB

  • Shifts: Night Shift | 12-hour shift

  • Job type: Full-time | 1-week job assignment (extendable)

  • Start Date: January 10

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate a skid steer in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining proper care and maintenance of the machine.

  • Safely perform all skid steer duties such as backfilling, excavating, grading and material movement.

  • Communicate with the control room operator to select the proper bunkers to feed from Monitor the in-feeding process.

  • Assist the process operators in different tasks across the plant such as setting up hoses, pumps, monitor centrifuge outlet, moving tote tanks, cleaning.

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED

  • At least five years of industrial Skid Steer Operator experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills

  • Valid Tickets: CSTS-2020, H2S Alive, First Aid CPR/AED

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and read a tape measure

  • Capability to interpret prints: specification sheets, diagrams, schematics

  • Own transportation required as the site is not reliably accessible by public transport

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada
