Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in finishing carpentry
- Must have basic hand tools
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various construction practices
- Time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Description
- Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project
- Baseboard, crown mouldings, framing, window sills, etc
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment used to complete carpentry duties
- Unique and custom shop work
Compensation/Benefits
- Hourly Wage based on experience along with skills, effort, carpentry enthusiasm and ambition
- Medical and Dental coverage offered for full-time employees after 6 months
- Vacation Pay included on each pay cheque
- 40 hours a week; Monday to Friday
- Christmas/winter break and accommodating additional time off requests for family and personal time.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
