Skilled Labourer with concrete/precast/carpentry skills

Position: Skilled Labourers and Supervisors with concrete/precast/carpentry Skills

Casey Concrete Precast division, is seeking dedicated individuals with a strong work ethic and a combination of Skilled Labourers, leadership, supervisory, and carpentry experience. Responsibilities:

- Perform Skilled Labourers tasks such as form layout, carpentry, concrete work, and general construction duties.

- Provide leadership and supervisory guidance to a team of labourers, ensuring efficient completion of projects.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of construction tasks.

- Uphold safety protocols and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on job sites.

- Utilize a range of tools and equipment efficiently and maintain them in good working condition.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper disposal of construction debris.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in Skilled Labourer roles, particularly in carpentry and general construction.

- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to effectively guide and motivate a team.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and operating machinery.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.

- Occupational Health and Safety Certification is an asset.

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:

• carpentry: 1 year (required)
• Concrete finishing: 1 year (preferred)
