Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time SMT Operator for our client located in Ottawa ON.
As an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for operating SMT equipment for precise electronic product manufacturing. Key tasks include maintaining quality standards, conducting inspections, managing tooling databases, communicating with teams, and ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.
The ideal candidate should be eligible to work and reside in Canada and have at least one year of experience operating SMT equipment (knowledge of JUKI is a definite asset).

Responsibilities:
Setting up / operating SMT equipment to manufacture complex electronic products following drawings, procedures, and other process documentation to a high quality and in a highly productive manner
Attention to detail and understanding of SMT quality standards (IPC-A-610) to perform SMT in-process inspection
Use of PC-based software tools on the SMT equipment to maintain tooling database
Interface with Engineering and Management personnel to report issues and relay potential process improvements
Load / unload feeders
Attention to control of inventory processes
Awareness of PCB handling processes, ESD practices and IPC-610 standards
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
1 years' experience running SMT equipment (knowledge of JUKI a definite asset)
