Snow Plow Operator

Bradbosh Landscaping and Snow Removal Inc. has an opening in our plowing division for a plowing team member for this snow removal season.Under the direction of Supervisors you will be responsible for operating and maintain plow equipment such as truck with v-plow and skid steer. Overnight work is required for this position. We are a COR certified company and believe safety is paramount.

Basic/Required Qualification

• Valid Driver’s License will be given preference and ability to provide copy of driver’s abstract
• Working knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools relative to landscape maintenance and snow removal
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Ability to maintain simple records and make verbal reports
• Strong adherence to Bradbosh safety policies and protocol
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating truck with plow or skid steer to clear lots
• Ability to load, unload and tie down skid steer on a flat deck trailer
• Experience driving truck with trailer and operating in a safe manner
• Previous landscaping, snow removal and/or maintenance experience is an asset
• Ability to take direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
• Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic

• Valid Class 5 license
• Ability to drive truck and trailer an asset

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Ability to perform moderate to heavy intensive tasks for extended periods of time
• Working in a variety of outdoor environments with the ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures
• Cold weather, on-call during winter months
• Physically Demanding position
• Significant standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling
• Repetitive Motions
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 50 - 100 lbs
