Snow Plow Operators (Az/Dz License)

Have you been Laid off for the Winter or looking for Full time roles. Don’t you worry because we are looking for AZ/DZ drivers to operate our fleet of Snow ploughs for the winter season until March 31st 2024. $400 weekly Standby pay PLUS on top of that we pay you the hours you work.

At A&G The Road Cleaners Ltd., we ensure our equipment is safe for our drivers so they can do their best quality work. We are also an essential service with many growth opportunities at all 5 of our locations.

Based on performance metrics, the employment could convert into full-time opportunities as Dump truck operators, Live bottoms operators, Water trucks operators.

Location-Newmarket

Responsibilities:

• Clear snow for residential and regional roads.
• Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner following all recommended procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
• Respond Promptly to calls for snow and ice conditions.
• Maintaining accurate documentation including but not limited to Safety reports and hours.

Requirements:

• Valid AZ/DZ license.
• Must have 1-2 years of truck driving experience.
• Clean and current driving abstracts.
• Available 24/7 and respond to call-Ins within 60 minutes (Evenings, Weekends, Nights and holidays).
• Ability to work in all types of weather and temperatures.
• Ability to understand performance requirements of the work and route map.
• Great customer service skills, team player and good communication skills are a must.
• Being punctual is an asset as well as being organized.

Shifts: Day/Afternoon/Evening

Experience:

• AZ/DZ: 1 – 2 years (preferred)

Salary: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
