Snow Removal

Leahey's Landscaping and Contracting Limited is a local company that provides commercial and municipal Snow Removal. We have Snow Removal positions for equipment operators: snowplow operator positions for HRM sidewalk Snow Removal in Peninsula Halifax. We have a large fleet of sidewalk equipment that is state of the art and well maintained. Equipment is inclosed and heated. Snowplow operators will be responsible to safely run sidewalk loaders/tractors to clear snow/ice, along a dedicated sidewalk route.

Requirements/skills:

· valid drivers license

· clean drivers abstract

· previous Snow Removal experience (an asset)

· ability to safely run equipment

· ability to complete required safety paperwork

· working cell phone

· communicate well with all staff

· weather dependent/ability to work on call (days, nights, weekends, holidays)

We offer competitive hourly pay and winter bonuses.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
