Solar Panel Installer

We are hiring multiple solar installers to join our fast growing team. In this role you will be expected to:

• Take accurate measurements of each site, roof, attic, wiring lengths etc.
• Confirm site plans communicating back to the designer
• Lead our DC installation crew (laying racking, stringing, paneling, DC wiring)
• Liase with our AC installation crew to ensure smooth installations.
• Commission inverter & system monitoring platforms.
• Champion our brand.

On job training also provided.

For this position, you must be a competent, trustworthy individual, with excellent personal initiative, attention to detail, and great positive attitude. We are looking for an intelligent, self-motivated person with great work ethic.

You must be able to lift 54lbs or more repeatedly throughout the day. You must be experienced at, and certified for working at heights.

Travel is a requirement for this role, you must have your own vehicle. (Vehicle allowance provided)

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Current WHMIS Certification
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Basic knowledge of solar PV technology, including modules, inverters, optimizers, mounting equipment
• Own vehicle

Bonus:

• 2+ years experience installing solar PV
• Current Fall Safety and Fall Arrest Certification

Job Types: Seasonal, Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary: $4,000.00-$5,200.00 per month

• solar installation: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
