Solar Roofer

Responsibilities:

• - Install solar racking and equipment on residential and commercial buildings
• - Set up Ladders and fall protection
• - Layout solar array on roofs
• - Hoist and receive solar panels
• - Use hand tools and power tools to complete solar projects
• - Measure and cut solar materials to fit specific areas
• - Inspect roofs for damage and make necessary repairs
• - Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing
• - Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Experience:

Previous experience as a roofer, maintenance person, or carpenter is preferred

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and roofing plans
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for roofing tasks
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting as required
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to roofing

Our installation team works all over the province of British Columbia. The position is Monday to Friday but you will need to be able to work out of town during the week.

Note: This job will require working at heights and in various weather conditions. Safety training will be provided.
