Roles and responsibilities:
- Key member to the project team and set the tone for each project.
- Develop an understanding of Rodney Enterprises products and business operations
- Analyze construction blueprints, specifications, CCO's, and addendums
- Review requests for quotes and tenders for division 10 products that we supply and construct a quote for each project.
- Prepare multiple estimates simultaneously
- Deal with walk in customers
- Connect and form strong relationships with our product suppliers.
Qualities and qualifications that make a strong candidate:
- 2-5 years experience in the construction industry in an estimating role.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in management/office software tools (Seradex, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Procore, etc.).
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the commercial construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree from a post-secondary institution is considered an asset (Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field).
- Strong knowledge of division 10 construction and installation is considered an asset.
