With a staff of 14,000, the Toronto Catholic is a dynamic school board and is seeking Speech and Language Pathologists. Positions available:permanent, and 100 % contract positions until July 4, 2024.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assessment and consultation (group and/or individual) of students, and/or educational intervention for students with communication disorders
- Consultation with school personnel and parents
- Liaison with school, family, and community agencies
- Membership on an interdisciplinary team responsible for providing professional services
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology
- Preference given to applicants with experience within an educational setting
- Registration with the College of Speech & Language Pathologist of Ontario (CASLPO)
- A valid Driver’s License and access to a car
Please note that the position requires direct contact with school children, and all participants must be practicing Roman Catholics verified through a Pastoral Reference Letter from your Parish Priest.
