The Opportunity: The Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing services including diagnostic audiology services, Speech and Language testing and evaluations, habilitative services, consultative services, maintaining ongoing records, and initiating and updating short and long term goals for each case. The main responsilibites are as follows:
- Administer the Speech-Language Pathology Program for children 0 – 6 and their families
- Provides services to clients supported by evidence, research and multidiscipline expertise on the wide range of health, social, and program specific issues related to health care services within First Nation communities and CSFS clinics.
- Develop specific objectives for client program planning and development
What You Will Bring to The Role:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA)
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s License.
