Job Description: The Speech-Language Pathologist assesses, diagnoses and provides interventon for children with communication disorders.
Involved in health promotion and prevention work in relation to communication disorders.
The Speech Language Pathologist will work in collaboration with other agencies and disciplines in providing services.
Required Qualifications
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Experience
Prior training and experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing assessments preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours including evenings/weekend as required

Ability to assist and develop policies and procedures according to best practices
Ability to communicate positively and effectively with peers, colleagues and direct reports.
Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds

Ability to make appropriate clinical judgments regarding client care
