Job Description:
What will you work on?
Aide in the Product Development/packaging of Licensing Out goods for all categories including Publishing, for all regions. Liaise with internal and external partners on the approval process ensuring accuracy of concept and samples submission/resubmissions. Act as Brand Ambassador, providing guidance on Licensing style guide/branding assets and trade marketing
How will you create impact?
- Aide in Product Approvals Process:
- Review branding/packaging portion of submissions.
- Ensure packaging/POP are consistent with brand integrity.
- Provide timely feedback --within 10 business days on receipt of submission phase.
- Work with licensees to ensure licensor feedback and revisions are addressed; and that comments are received accordingly with licensing contracts and are within milestones outlined in the Product Development calendar
- Manage select category(s)yep s
- For newly posed 3D sculpted items, manage overlay feedback.
- Take over submissions from the PPS phase and onwards, in MyMediabox until managing own categories.
- Sort and check PPS and PS samples, to match approved concepts and PPS respectively
- Affirm test reports are submitted and approved by Product Integrity Protocol (QA) before Approving for Distribution.
- Manage Sample Room and maintain catalogue of samples.
- Create product displays in Licensing Room.
- Weekly meetings with Design Director, reviewing new concepts, PPS PS samples, packaging and any issues.
- Participate in bi-weekly meetings with Licensing team and brand teams.
- Liaise with Licensees on creative assets, DAM site, and signage/trade marketing needs.
- Assist in development of Licensing Style guides
- Research relevant trends; create mood boards.
- Coordinate with lead designers to obtain most up-to-date reference materials.
- Create simplified character art - reduced colour/printing limitations based on original vector art.
- Participate in creative brainstorms, design reviews; including editorial
- Aide Design Director in development of CP Style Guides/Trend Design Kits/Supplements and product concepts.
- Aide in execution of Licensing setups and Amazon POD site ie. Toyfair CP vignettes, POD designs
- Develop digital and social media elements for promotional partnerships.
- Ad-hoc projects as needed.
What are your skills and experience?
- Bachelor’s Degree/diploma in Graphic Design or related fields
- Experience with Product Development; Hardlines and/or Softlines categories
- Experience with Licensing and entertainment properties
- Experience working with Style guides, Branding/Packaging/POP
- Experience with MyMediaBox is a bonus
- Thirst to stay on top of industry trends
