The opportunity:
The Sr. Engineer, Oracle Financial Applications supports Information Technology objectives by developing business processes, systems and supporting clients (under limited supervision). The incumbent provides information technology (IT) solutions.
Sr. Engineer, Oracle Financial Applications also provides a strong emphasis on developing interfaces, report, forms for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial Management, and works with advanced functional EBS Financials users.
How you will contribute:
Analyzes and evaluates business requirements by working with finance and management. Provides recommendations on the nature, scope and complexity of solutions
Acts as Lead by developing and documenting functional and technical specifications and project plans for proposed solutions to business requirements of moderate to high complexity. Develops (codes), tests, documents, educates and supports subsequent software solutions
Supports Oracle Financial applications, monitors systems performance and work based on the impact to the business. May coordinate cross-functional IT departments to resolve issues
Uses troubleshooting skills to identify, research and propose solutions to problems and accommodate necessary changes or corrective action, as needed
Experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle RDBMS and Perl or comparable scripting language
Expertise in Setups / Data flows / Interfaces(standard & custom) / Functionality / Month end period close support issues
Oracle Reports 11g, Oracle Forms 11g, Oracle ADI, Query tools, XML Publisher reports, Oracle PL*SQL, SQL, SQL*Loader, Perl Scripting.
IT related Degree or relevant experience.
Other duties as assigned.
What you will bring with you:
BS or equivalent and 10 years' work experience in computer sciences or related field, or equivalent combination
7 years of experience working with Oracle Database products with increasing levels of responsibility.
Proven industry experience as an Oracle Financial Developer with a strong understanding of oracle R12 and application platform
Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications solutions
Strong understanding of Oracle technology solutions and direction
Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
Proven analytical, time-management, and problem solving skills
Desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Strong presentation skills
Required to attend additional training as requested/deemed necessary
Bonus/Soft Skills:
Knowledge of OBIEE / ETL functionality desirable.
Oracle Application Framework forms desirable.
Experience with RDBMS, Auto sys, Java, Unix,
Experience with AR, Payment and GL Systems
Accounting and Ledger knowledge

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:
Southern region: $98,800 - $148,200 annually
Central region: $104,200 - $213,300 annually
Northern region: $111,400 - $167,000 annually
If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $94,306 - $141,400 annually.
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $111,400 - $167,000 annually.
If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $104,200 - $213,300 annually.
