We are a group of engineers and financial advisors who have extensive experience to help companies successfully apply for SR&ED (Scientific Research & Experimental Development) tax credits and various Grant Applications in a variety of industries.

Job description

As a SR&ED & Grant Consultant, you will be responsible for drafting SR&ED & Grant report, interviewing clients, and manage application related documentation and applicant’s information from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

· Present our services to client's technical staff, explain criteria for eligibility and determine scope of projects.

· Write technical reports, including the technical objectives, state of knowledge and deviation from standard practice, and steps carried out in an experimental process.

· Locate supporting evidence such as research plans, test results, prototypes, emails etc.

· Research publicly available sources for contemporaneous evidence.

· Coordinate proposed activities with other team members to assure a smooth and continuous production flow.

· Work closely with our client personnel, our R&D consultants must be self-motivated individuals with a professional and friendly approach, and be excellent written and verbal communicators.

· Complete grant-related reporting requirements

· Audit internal documentation and knowledge transfer processes to suggest optimal approaches for capturing information

· Work in a virtual and remote work environment.

Qualifications

· Language requirements: English and Mandarin

· University Degree in Engineering related field

· Strong experience in the following fields:

o IT/ Software

· Understand engineering documentation, and communicate effectively with engineers, scientists and technical staff.

· Must have strong technical writing skills and ability to develop a concise technical report in a timely fashion.

· Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to conduct technical interviews to evaluate R&D activities.

· Ability to articulate and support your technical views to our clients.

· Industrial experience is an asset

· Project Management experience an asset

· Previous SR&ED & Grant application experience is an asset

· Experience in working at Professional Service Firm is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
