We are currently accepting applications for a full-time year-round Staff Housing Team Member for the Revelstoke Mountain Resort Staff Housing Department.

The Revelstoke Mountain Resort Staff Housing Team is recruiting a new Team Member. This is an engaging role that is responsible for booking, supporting, and communicating with residents pre, during, and post stay. Reporting directly to the Staff Housing Coordinator, the successful candidate will work with the coordinator, maintenance, and custodial team to support the housing operation with the goal of helping our Team Members feel at home, and safe, during their time in Staff Housing.
This role is exciting, different every day, fast paced, and requires excellent communication skills, organization, and critical thinking.
Job Duties
  • Check Team Members in and out of Staff Housing.
  • Create, maintain, and manage reservations, group blocks and billing in our PMS system.
  • Communicate with residents pre, during & post stay. Some examples can include reservation enquiries, distributing notices, responding maintenance requests or resident concerns, general enquiries etc.
  • Perform routine condition inspections on all accommodations.
  • Be familiar with all Staff Housing accommodations and locations.
  • Work hand in hand with all resort operating departments.
  • Participate in the emergency on-call schedule.
  • Reporting, filing, and organizing housing documents.
  • Taking and reconciling payments, including direct billing, credit/debit, and cash handling.
  • Participate in changeovers, which may include some cleaning.
  • Be willing to jump in and support your Staff Housing coworkers as and when required, particularly during onboarding and offboarding seasons.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Opera, or other PMS (Property Management System) advantageous.
  • Valid BC Driving License and clean drivers abstract.
  • Owning a vehicle is preferred but not essential.
  • To be a team player with the willingness to jump in and support the overall Staff Housing operation as required.
  • Experience in property management or hotel front desk operations is preferred but not essential.
Work Conditions
  • Interact with residents, leadership, colleagues, and the public.
  • Driving, from time to time.
  • Manual dexterity required to use various cleaning apparatus and supplies.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Regular physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting and crouching.
  • Various indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
