About the role
- Implements and tests low to moderately complex code changes to fix identified defects in existing s/w products (e.g., identify and debug an application) or to moderately enhance new/future s/w releases.
- Troubleshoots low to moderate defects within code (within own component); may provide input into and performs actions as designated in the remediation plan.
- May assist in the development of requirements with product management and architects; provides recommendations to enhance design to prevent recurring defects.
- Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized initiatives to come up with high level design. Basic understanding on how to install and configure hardware/software/cloud services
- Assists and provides additional support in solving software/systems monitoring issues and escalations which require moderate technical expertise to troubleshoot. Complete low to medium configuration activities such as alerts, dashboards, etc.
- Assists in automation of deployment of solutions as code
- Bachelor Degree
- Computer Science or related
- 1 to 3 years (junior)
- Foundational certification in technology and best practices should be customized for the job posting - optional or in progress ** ie: aws devops certifications, sysops or developer"
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
