Job Summary
An excellent career building opportunity for a self-motivated individual who has a strong interest in Indigenous relations
This position provides support to the Indigenous Relations team and contribute to elements of Indigenous consultation processes (i.e. preparation, engagement, accommodation, decision and follow-up) on natural resource management applications and decisions. May also provide support to negotiations with Indigenous Nations.
Job Requirements:
  • Diplomaor degree in natural resource management (such as forestry, resource management, geography) Indigenous studies; administration, public policy; political science;; or any other related fields
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities and/or on indigenous issues.
  • Experience undertaking research and writing reports and/or documents.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
  • Experience in project management.
  • Persons who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit)
