Stone Slinger Operator JOB# JCL070

JCL Investments is seeking a skilled and motivated Stone Slinger operator to join our team in Conception Bay South. As a Stone Slinger Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Stone Slinger truck to deliver aggregate materials accurately and efficiently to residential, commercial, and industrial project sites.

Responsibilities:

· Operate Stone Slinger trucks to deliver aggregate materials such as gravel, sand, and topsoil to designated locations on construction sites

· Load materials onto the Stone Slinger truck using appropriate equipment and techniques

· Ensure accurate placement of materials according to project specifications and requirements

· Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

· Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate material delivery activities

· Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment

· Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues as they arise

· Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time logs and equipment maintenance records

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement
• Clean Driver’s abstract
• Valid Power Line Hazards training
• Strong understanding of aggregate materials and their applications in construction
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
