Store/ Campground attendants

We are seeking individuals or couples to work in the Bow Valley Campgrounds in the beautiful Bow Valley this coming summer season.

Bow Valley Campgrounds has been running since 1995 providing facilities management in the Kananaskis area including day use areas, group and individual camping. Our campgrounds offer either advanced online booking or first come first served depending on location. We also strive to offer relevant and helpful information about the area to our customers, including but not limited to information about local trails, shows and events provided by Alberta Parks and relevant wildlife information. All our campgrounds offer firewood for sale as well as other small camping items.

Successful candidates will be available to work 5 days per week/ 8 hours per day over evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities to include:

• Cleaning of campground areas including sites and roadways, washroom facilities and sales area.
• Selling of small campground items including firewood
• Use of existing booking systems either online or on paper depending on location.
• Communicating effectively with management both in person and over the phone
• Small maintenance tasks such as replacing leaking taps or electrical covers
• Wood Deliveries
• Use of power tools such a Chainsaws
• Experience with Skid steers an asset

Requirements:

• Must be willing to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Must be active and able to lift 25lbs
• Must be able to work outdoors in any weather conditions.
• Vehicle for personal use
• Basic computer literacy
• Basic cash handling skills

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
