Store Clerk

Duties:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive store sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a positive working environment and foster a strong team spirit among employees.
- Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels and prevent shrinkage.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers and preparing deposits.

Experience:

- Previous experience in a retail management role is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in basic math calculations for cash handling purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices.
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and reporting.
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements: The role involves constant activity (standing, bending and reaching). There also includes frequent lifting of one to five pounds and occasional lifting of up to 20lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
