Sherwood Discounters is looking to hire a Store Manager, that must do well under pressure, dependable, reliable, honest, and people oriented.

Manager Position Summary:
To oversee the daily retail store operations as part of a team and to be accountable for the completion of all duties required to operate store on a daily basis.
KEY RESPOSIBILTIES:
· Manage store resources to maximize the store appearance and ensure shelves are full with new stock put out in a timely manner.
· Recruiting, Training and supervising store team
· Ensuring company policies are explained, implemented, and followed
· Creating and managing the work schedule using the budgeted hours and reporting payroll
· Managing customer service and handling complaints
· Ensuring inventory counts are reported accurately and maintained
· Ensure that opening/closing procedures are followed
· Manager to be main point of contact for alarm
· Operating a cash register
· Balance of daily sales reports
· Ensure that daily deposits are completed and that cash/float handling procedures are monitored
· Receiving orders
· Pricing and putting freight on shelves
· Merchandising
Job Requirements:
· At least five years in retail management (must be retail, not convenience)
· Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
· Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
· Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities
· Strong leadership and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
