The Grocery People (TGP) is hiring a Store Manager on a permanent basis, onsite in Jasper,AB.

The TGP Store Manager is responsible for the store operations, fiscal management, customer satisfaction, leadership, talent management practices and workplace safety for the store overall.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for managing and providing oversight and direction for overall operations; stock control and purchasing activities; Monitor building services and conditions; Ensure inventory integrity for incoming and outgoing freight; Establishes short term strategies, goals, and objectives for the store in alignment with FCL’s strategic plan.
- Assists in preparing the annual budget for the store and ensures adherence. Prepares, administers, and is responsible for achieving budgeted goals related to pricing, sales, margin, expenses, and inventory.
- Participate and lead in the development of products and services to improve profit and increase customer satisfaction.
- Coaches and develops team members and leaders, providing daily direction and guidance, including performance management, training, and development. Ensures team leaders hold their teams accountable for coordination and supervision of all safety, maintenance, and asset protection policies.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in and:
- Have a Grade 12 education. Post-Secondary in business, financial or sales preferred.
- Have minimum 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Food retail preferred.
- Have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and become a member of a highly motivated team.
