Job Summary

The purpose of a Storefront/Dispatch Assistant is to maintain the overall flow of workplace operations. They will be the central point of contact for customers and management. The person in this position is responsible for coordinating in-house technicians and scheduling service work as well as retail sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule work with service technicians
  • Responsible for communicating all relevant information between clients and service technicians.
  • Track service work from start to finish.
  • Support and motivate the technicians’ team to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and all team members.
  • Responsible for creating new client accounts.
  • Work with financial team to ensure accurate AR/AP processes.
  • Maintain an organized and appealing storefront conditions.
  • Work collectively with all team members to maintain efficient operations.
  • Maintain exceptional customer relations.
  • Extend work orders as needed.
  • Process and input customer requests in ticketing system, evaluate and respond to customer inquiries in a prompt, courteous and effective manner.
  • Use ticketing and workflow management systems to document service work.
  • Retail sales, including customer recommendations and key cutting.
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and message
  • Assist locksmith technicians with associated work including but not limited to keying locks, assembling items in shop, adding inventory, material orders and related.

Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently.
  • Experience with retail sales
  • Work independently

Working conditions

  • Retail store environment. Saturday Hours.

Physical requirements

  • Lift 15 lbs.
  • Manual Dexterity

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.75-$25.08 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
