Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office/shop Assistant with a tomboy spirit to join our team. The ideal candidate will be energetic, resourceful, and unafraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. As an Office/Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business and providing support to various shop tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining office supplies.
- Help coordinate office events, including team-building activities and celebrations.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices and expense reports.
- Inventory control/shipping/receiving
- Use power tools and work with our shop team as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the business.
Requirements:
- A get it done attitude.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A tomboy spirit with a willingness to tackle any task with enthusiasm and determination.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in office/shop.
- Familiarity with office management software and systems.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination.
